North of the Sierra Nevada Range, south of the deserts of Eastern Oregon, west of Nevada's Black Rock Desert, and east of Mount Shasta, the Warner Range is in a seldom-visited northeast corner of California and a great location for photographers searching for autumn color. The Warner Mountains are semi-legendary, a place few have heard of and fewer have explored. For those fortunate enough to hike the range, they will most likely have it to themselves. This lonely, majestic place promises spectacular scenery and the quiet solitude of mountain trails seldom photographed.
