	Orcas, the largest members of the dolphin family, are warm-blooded, breathe air, possess lungs, and give birth to live young and nurse them. Like humans, orcas are mammals, and at the top of their respective food chains. The waters off Vancouver Island are home to orcas, or "killer whales."
